Built at the beginning of the 19th century, Underwood House is the former estate manager’s residence and a quintessential Cotswold cottage. Now renovated throughout, the house offers period charm with all modern comforts; a fully equipped kitchen, beautifully styled and well equipped living spaces, underfloor heating and high speed internet.

The ground floor has a large sitting room with a wood burning stove, a similarly sized dining room with double doors that open onto the terrace outside and a large and well-equipped kitchen. There is also a hallway by the back door and a WC. The first floor has two large and equally sized bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, one of which has an ensuite bathroom with roll top bath and large shower. There is also a family bathroom and on the second floor 2 good sized bedrooms with beds which can be configured as either a double or twin. Outside there is a terraced area with table and BBQ and an expansive lawn with fruit trees

You are invited to roam the entire estate * apart from the gardens of the other rented properties and the grounds around the main house, which is the owner’s private family residence.

The bedroom has 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen, down duvets, feather pillows and super restful pocket sprung mattresses and the bathroom has 100% Egyptian Cotton Towels, Rituals soap, shampoo and shower gel.

There will be a Stancombe Park Welcome Hamper including Champagne, smoked salmon and a selection of locally sourced foodie items.
