Milk Barn at Ampneyfield Farm

ENQUIRE

A beautiful and very well located 2022 barn conversion, the perfect retreat for families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway or a base to explore the region's delights.

This beautiful 1050 Sq ft barn conversion is an ideal retreat for families or small groups of friends looking for a relaxing getaway whilst within easy reach of some of the Cotswold’s finest restaurants, pubs and boutique shops.

One of three luxurious barn conversions nestled within a tranquil farm owned by the hosts, a countryside oasis with stunning views. Milk Barn is single-level barn conversion with two en-suite bedrooms, an open-plan living space with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private patio ideal for alfresco dining. When you feel like exploring, Bibury and Cirencester are only 3 miles away and venturing further into the Cotswolds to discover charming boutique shops and picturesque villages is quite quick and easy with an excellent road network.

All the spaces are designed to be light and airy – but still cosy – with the floor-to-ceiling windows taking full advantage of the countryside views. The open-plan vaulted ceiling living space features chandeliers and is decorated in subtle pastel shades. The kitchen, living and dining space is – unusually – air conditioned and the bespoke Shaker style kitchen is equipped with more than just the essentials.

The two beautiful en-suite bedrooms have been furnished with style and like all our other properties feature Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. The first bedroom has a king-size bed whilst the second bedroom has two zip and link single beds that can be joined to make a king-size upon request.

Outside there is a charming private garden and courtyard ideal for summer outdoor dining, the perfect place to relax with a glass of something gazing across the apple orchard and farm fields into the sunset.

So there is an abundance of things to do and places to see in the area and wider Cotswolds, including the beautiful Cotswolds villages and towns and the renown Stow-on-the-Wold is only a 30 minutes drive which has great dining options and as well as various independent shops. Ampneyfield Barns is also a great location from which to explore the stunning English countryside with numerous walking routes on your doorstep. The Talland School of Equitation is very close and the brand new Padle Shift courts are Elkstone Studios – see our Passport page for a unique offer for our guests – is only 12 minutes away. The Cotswolds Water Park is just 20 minutes away by car and offers plenty of fun for the entire family with picturesque cycling routes, scenic strolls, archery, horse riding and much more.

Daylesford Organic is only around a 30 minute drive, perfect for browsing the amazing farm shop and new lifestyle emporium or grabbing a bite in the restaurant or being pampered in the spa. Further afield Blenheim Palace offers plenty of activities for the whole family, including a walk through the Marlborough Maze and a palace tour; which is itself not far from the historic city of Oxford so well worth a day trip.
