Our portfolio includes homes with genuinely unique touches you won't find in a typical hotel or holiday cottage, from stone pizza ovens and croquet lawns to communal indoor swimming pools, hot tubs and all weather tennis courts. Because each property is chosen for its individual character rather than to fit a set format, no two homes in our collection look or feel the same.
We have a range of grand manor houses and mansions across the portfolio designed for large family reunions, milestone celebrations and multi generational stays, with our largest homes sleeping over 20 guests across multiple reception rooms, and often including pools, tennis courts and dedicated entertaining spaces. We're not a traditional letting agent. Luxury Cotswold Rentals is a deliberately small and is home to a niche group of like-minded property owners, founded in 2010 by Nigel and Maria Stengard-Green. We know every property and every owner personally, so we can guide you to the right home for your stay, rather than simply listing properties.
Our portfolio spans the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the surrounding countryside of South Central England, with properties in and around Tetbury, Chippenham, Cheltenham and Bath. Every property page confirms its exact location and nearest town.
We have a portfolio of almost 100 properties, from cosy one-bedroom cottages to grand manor houses and mansions sleeping 24 or more guests.
Every booking comes with access to our multi-level Concierge service and our unique App, your personal guide to the Cotswolds with over 2,000 points of interest, as well as the Cotswold Passport, which unlocks exclusive offers including up to 20% off luxury car hire. We also never charge a booking fee, even on properties that aren't exclusive to us. Beyond this, our Concierge team can arrange private chefs, therapists, beauticians, wellness retreats and classic car hire, among many other bespoke experiences tailored to your stay.
Yes. Many of our cottages are dog friendly and offer a very warm welcome to your best friend. Browse our dedicated Dog Friendly Holiday Homes collection to find the perfect pet-friendly cottage, farmhouse or manor house.
Yes. We have a wonderful collection of wedding and event venues catering for between 30 and around 250 guests, and every one of these also welcomes corporate and wellbeing retreats. House rules do vary by property (some larger homes limit the number of weddings hosted each year, or don't accept hen parties), so it's best to check with us at the time of enquiry.
Yes. We offer optional Refund Protection through XCover, rated Excellent on Trustpilot, at around 7% of your full booking value. It covers cancellations due to illness, injury, adverse weather warnings or a vehicle breakdown en route, among other circumstances.
Smaller cottages within our Instant Booking Collection can be viewed and booked directly online. For larger or more exclusive homes, we'll confirm availability and in some case rates with you directly, as some properties need owner consultation before a booking is confirmed. Minimum stay length varies by property, from three nights at some cottages to a full week at others, so do check the listing page for details.

We have been a hospitality host in the Cotswolds for over 21 years and Luxury Cotswold Rentals itself has been offering great properties and experiences for 16 years and was originally created for the founder’s own house, The Old Surgery in Tetbury before other owners asked to join our portfolio.
