The Brian Sinfield Gallery has occupied a prominent spot on Burford’s High Street since 1972, making it one of the longest-established galleries in the Cotswolds and, by reputation, one of the most prestigious exhibition spaces for contemporary painting outside London. Over more than five decades it has built a loyal following among collectors for its consistently high standard of curation, in a town more often associated with antiques than fine art.
Contemporary British Painting
The gallery specialises in twenty-first-century, traditional and semi-abstract work by predominantly British artists, alongside a select group of sculpture, including bronze. Its roster of represented artists reads as a genuine who’s-who of contemporary British painting, including Saied Dai RP NEAC, Dr PJ Crook MBE RWA MAFA FRSA, Peter Brown NEAC, Robbie Wraith RP and Antony Williams NEAC RP RS, among many others.
