Polo Experience Days are the perfect solution when seeking a unique day out in the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Be it business or pleasure, a day of relaxation or part of a longer busy tour of England, we cater for many different clients. Regardless whether you are a sports enthusiast, regular rider, or have never ridden or even seen polo match before, whichever category you belong, we will provide everything to make your day memorable.

Below is an example schedule for a group reservation:

• 6pm. (evening prior to polo) Welcome – We will join you at your house where one of our senior coaches or a club umpire will introduce the game, history and the major players involved.
• The Day :-
• 11 am. Tea and coffee at the clubhouse. Alternatively a champagne reception.
• 11.30 am. Coaching Commences – learn to hold and swing a polo stick whilst riding a beautiful polo pony, in the capable hands of our HPA polo coaches.
• 1pm. A delicious picnic lunch is served in the Clubhouse.
• 3pm. Chukkas - Relax in your reserved seating and watch the professionals in action. Expert commentary provided.
• 5pm. Departure.

Of course guests do not have to depart. They are welcome to remain and watch the winning team collect their prizes. The clubhouse bar will remain open well into the evening.

The timings listed are all approximate. Chukkas maybe rescheduled, largely due to weather.

We will provide a delicious picnic lunch, with emphasis on Cotswold produce. All soft drinks will be included. Should you require any English wines, Gins or Beers there would be an additional cost. We will cater for any special diets; vegans, vegetarians and of course any allergies. All guest insurance paperwork will be issued by OKL prior to your event, it will help the day flow. We will also advise on appropriate attire.

We understand not every guest may wish to ride. However, the school will ensure everyone is included and has a positive experience. We will introduce Polo stations for small groups, and for those who would prefer a gentle hack or walk on the estate, additional coaches will be on hand to accompany them.

Listed below are a few picnic lunch menu suggestions:

• roasted red pepper and goats cheese tart
• smoked salmon and cream cheese mini bagels
• charlotte potato salad with chive crème fraiche
• roulade of herb crusted sirloin beef with celeriac and wholegrain mustard

We are in regular contact with a variety of English Gin and prestigious award winning vineyards. We will happily organise an interesting drinks menu for your day.

In addition, we are able to provide a photographer to capture the events of the day, dress the clubhouse, organise floral arrangements, champagne reception, afternoon tea, provide club merchandise to take home, personalise menus and programmes. Perhaps your guests would enjoy their own prize giving? The list really is endless.
