Cotswold Meadow is a pair of traditional cottages totally renovated and extended to create a modern, minimalist five bedroom bolthole; rural but in walking distance of Chipping Norton mainly on paved footpaths.
The property is perfectly configured to entertain family and friends with a large kitchen overlooking the dining area with expanding dining table, an outdoor kitchen and bar and numerous relaxing and dining spots along the the full length terrace. The garden in mainly lawned and in a small copse nestles a wooden playhouse for children.
If you are members of Soho Farmhouse this is practically on your doorstep and Chipping Norton has many attractions including the renown Diddly Squat Farm and shop, the excellent Living Room Cinema and close by highly recommended pubs like The Bull at Charlbury and slightly further afield the amazing Pit Kitchen.
Oxford is only 22 miles away, the lovely town of Woodstock – the home of Blenheim Palace – is 12 miles away and going north Stratford-upon-Avon is only 23 miles away making a visit to The Royal Shakespeare Company theatre very accessible.
The property is gated and has ample parking inside and outside the gated entrances. The adjacent stables and paddocks are home to the owner’s own horses and are excluded from the rental but the entrance to the yard is separate and is fenced off from the house and its gardens, keeping them private.
