Built 13 years ago designed by famed architects Yiangou in a classic Georgian rectory style, they created the perfect blend of period style, light filled interiors and modern amenity; making the hereditary name of the site a little anachronistic.

The house is incredibly well proportioned with large living spaces that connect and flow well making for ideal entertaining space. On the ground floor there is a drawing room, a connecting dining room that can seat 14 in more than comfort, a library cum snug, a large family playroom and a voluminous very family orientated kitchen breakfast room that opens out along its length onto the poolside terrace. All the reception rooms and the kitchen breakfast room have open fires or wood-burning stoves. There are five first floor bedroom suites and a second floor bedroom with a family bathroom with bath/shower.
Set in six private acres off a quiet single track lane Blakemore also has a self-contained pool house with a bedroom and fully equipped shower room, a full size tennis court, a well stocked kitchen garden and paddock.
