The Lost Orangery Euridge

ENQUIRE OR BOOK

Part of explorer Sir Walter Raleigh's old hunting lodge estate with gardens designed by the designers of Highgrove's gardens, hidden away between Bath and Castle Combe.

The Lost Orangery is a unique two bedroom 'cottage' located in stunning countryside close to Bath.

The Lost Orangery is part of explorer Sir Walter Raleigh’s old hunting lodge estate, hidden away between Bath and Castle Combe; and provides a unique romantic retreat for two, a family haven or a bolthole for two couples.

The ’show stopping’ grounds were created by Julian and Isabel Bannerman – Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal Winners and the designers of the world renown gardens at Highgrove – who have created a quite whimsical English country garden. The Lost Orangery not only has its own private roof terrace overlooking the estate, but the owners want you to enjoy their entire estate; from the Folly Mound to the tennis court and boating pond.

The living space is one stunning open plan space with a central long dining table by the grotto like fountain and with two separate seating areas at either end, plus cosy stations in-between. There are two double en-suite bedrooms with antique four poster beds, and showers in each bathroom; and although the kitchen is not large it is ample and well-equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer.
