Ford Cottage is a stylish thoroughly renovated Cotswold refuge discreetly tucked away in a picturesque setting behind high gates. A characterful cottage with modern amenities: power showers and deep baths, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with vintage AGA, integrated Sonos system and flat screen televisions with Apple TV.

But abounding period charm with wood-burners, deep sofas, an antique billiard table and equipped with plenty of books and decorate with eclectic artworks.

There is a quite private dreamy third of an acre garden, bordered by the River Dorn, with a barrel sauna hidden away in a quiet corner.

There are country walks and great pubs on the doorstep and Soho Farmhouse seven minutes away, Daylesford, Bicester and Blenheim 15 minutes, and Oxford less than half an hour away.

There is a regular direct line train service from London Paddington to Charlbury Railway Station, only seven miles from Ford Cottage. There is also a train every 30 minutes from London Marylbone Station to Bicester Village, with taxis readily available and only a 20 minute drive from Ford Cottage, so just over an hour from Central London to door.

Unfortunately children under the age of 8, except infants in cots, are not accepted at Ford Cottage there is no fence between the garden and the river and of course, like all our properties, the cottage is strictly no smoking. If you wish to engage a chef they need to be from our vetted and approved chef roster.
